Hi, my ds has chicken pox and has a spot on his eyeball. Google says see doctor. Does that mean get him out of bed and take him right now or will tomorrow do?

I'm not sure, but I'm sure someone here will know :)

My colleague had this recently with her son and the hospital took it very seriously. They were admitted to hospital for treatment. All okay now though.

I'd call NHS.

Ds had one - nurse said shed never seen it before but basically shrugged her shoulders and sent us home. However, I think she was wrong a but foolhardy tbh given what I've read since.

I would call nhs direct now

Hi. Doc called back last night and said if not swollen or weeping it'd be ok. Dh took him to gp this morning who said it looked ok but she is going to talk to eye doc and call us back in if needed. Thanks for all the advice.
