Help! Is cetraben really safe for babies

Does anyone know whether cetraben is actually safe for small babies to use? It works really well for my baby who has terrible dry skin, exzma etc but I'm really worried now about using the product as it contains lots of parabens which I spent my whole pregnancy avoiding! Sorry if this topic has come up before . If anyone knows anything I'd be really grateful , as I've stopped using it now ( even tho prescribed by doctor) as I simply don't trust the parabens. I'm in a dilemma as his skin is going bad again!

Yes it is perfectly safe. Everyone is quite unique to how they get on with emollients, so it's a case of trial and error to find the one that works best for your baby. Has it helped his skin? There are other emollients you can try that don't contain parabens (diprobase etc), but if cetraben works well for him I would stick with that to be honest.

Thanks guys, I had read that parabens might be carcegnic ( sorry i cant spelt it) and in some studies parabens were found in tumours, so I got all worried as he's only little and I was applying a lot. It did work beautifully tho...... Thanks again
