It's so lovely to check back on this thread and see how those baby steps have all added up into such spectacular news.

Well done to you all, I'm Grin

Mine seem to be leaking a little too, that's amazing :) :) :)

Trazzletoes · 05/04/2013 21:36

Fizzy at the idea of a nice patients' garden (though they are building a lovely little outside play area for the oncology and cystic fibrosis units). Do you watch OneBorn? You know that car park that they always do aerial shots of? I'll be toddling round that with a wheelchair Grin

Another with leaky eyes! So pleased - what fantastic progress. Long may it continue. Go Joe!!

hellohellohihi · 05/04/2013 21:46

Fab. Just fab. Will hope for sunshine with an extra golden ray for your delicious boy.

NorksAreMessy · 05/04/2013 21:51

Norks likes gin :)

I want to do one of those group hugs where we all jump up and down and hug each other at the same time.

Of course, I put every success down to THESNAIL _@/ :o

GlaikitHasHerFizzBack · 05/04/2013 22:02

Boo for no garden. The news has been outside LGI all day today, if they are still there on Sunday try and walk along the back and give us a wave! :o

So so happy for today's news!

Trazzletoes · 05/04/2013 22:03

Well, although I'm super-excited, that's somewhat tempered by:

A) the fact I will have to convince him to get some clothes on first and

B) there is a very real possibility that this treatment may not have worked.

So today, yes it is all good as far as we know. But the end of the road is still a very long way off.

Fizzy they show the fancy new bit! That's where I run out of for my chocolate fix because there is a Tescos there. Sadly I'm in the 70s throwback bit as featured on OBEM but we have smart, fancy wards with lovely strong showers in the en suite Grin

Wooshy doors? Fancy hospitals need wooshy doors!

I have my gingers crossed for Joe agreeing to be clothed and that this is the start of everything going in the direction him getting home very soon.

Trazzletoes · 05/04/2013 22:19

No whooshy doors, no.

Sorry!

To hell with clothes..GO NUDEYJOE GO!

saffronwblue · 05/04/2013 23:01

Trazzle it is baby steps but how gorgeous to think of Joe being wheeled around that dreary car park.

ajandjjmum · 05/04/2013 23:20

It'll seem the most beautiful carpark in the world!

minmooch · 06/04/2013 03:10

That is Fantastic news! But i understand its impossible not to worry. I am learning to enjoy the small bits of good news we get on our journey and try not to look forwards too much as it is impossible to know what will be.

I do so hope that you get to take Joe, clothed or otherwise, outside for those precious moments. Xxxxx
