Sorry to start yet another health thread, but was helping dd have a wash earlier, and she has a lump under her armpit.

It is a pea sized, quite hard lump, and she had never noticed it before the surgery.

Sounds normal to me tbh. Lymph nodes vary in size and pea size is nothing unusual in children. She might have always had it, it may be still be shrinking after an infection she had weeks or even months ago. Sometimes they never get back to their original size. Less than 1 cm =nothing to worry about unless other symptoms are present.

Thanks

Is it worth mentioning at the hospital tomorrow do you think ? We are going about her wound as it is bleeding.

I don't think it is anything to worry about, but I would mention it tomorrow as you are in hospital anyway.

Thanks
