Ds1 has a very swollen toe

He stubbed it on a door at Christmas. It was very black and angry looking at the time, but DH persuaded me that we shouldn't take him to get it seen to as, "even if it is broken, they can't/won't do anything for it"

Anyway 2 months on he's not complaining that it hurts, says it does when touched, but it's not affecting his ability to wear shoes, walk or play, but it is still very red and swollen.

I know I've left it too long, but should I do anything?

Get it checked by GP, if it's red & swollen (and hot?) there may be an infection.
