Red rash on cheeks and chin

Dd aged 6 has woken up with a bumpy raised rash on both cheeks and chin. Seems very warm to the touch and quite sore. Still has it tonight. We bought a new car seat at the weekend and she fell asleep leaning against the sides of it yesterday. Could this have caused the rash? Nothing else we can think of is different (washing powder, shower gel etc).

Been putting sodocrem on it; is this the best for it or should I give something else a go?

Could it be scarlet fever or scarletina? Is he unwell in any other way?

She seems fine and well but has complained of the rash feeling hot and sore. She's not a whinger at all and pretty much doesn't let illness bother her which is why it's unusual for her to say its hurting.

My dd has had this recently. I assumed it was a reaction to some face paint she'd had on the day before. She's fine in herself.

I've just come on this board as my DD also 6 has the same but I was putting it down to slapped cheek disease/syndrome. Her rash is also on her arms this morning, although no temp to speak of, but she did feel hot to the touch last night.

My DD has had a rash on cheeks and arms and now tops of thighs that comes and goes for about 2 weeks! Scarlett fever is rife in our area, but it hasn't got bad enough to go to GP and no other symptoms or temp!
She is 2.4 and has been complaining on and off that her arms are sore/itchy.
So, no help, but just adding to the list :)
