My DS has v+ 3 times today and once last night, and has d+ a couple times today. He is super sleepy, only been awake for about 40 mins every couple of hours. I have been told by the GP to feed him little and often, but he is entirely bf so unsure how to tell what little is, and how often is often? I'm so worried about him getting dehydrated. He hasn't had any wet nappies ( before passing d+, then I can't tell) any advice please.

Would he drink water or ideally diarolyte - either from a syringe or a cup?

How much/how often? Difficult question for an ebf baby! I would want to try and get 2-3 beakers of diarolyte into him over the course of a day so 400-600ml maybe and try a few sips/syringes every 15-30minutes probably
