Non viral rash on face with bad spots

DD has non viral rash, confirmed by GP. Both DDs have had bad colds and dd1 is prone to ezcema. We are on day three of rash and it keeps looking worse. Her face looks like she has chicken pox or the beginning of it. She feels mostly ok but her face is itchy and she keeps scratching. Bathed her in oilatum and have been putting her epaderm cream on. Anything else I can do?

Yes forgot to say we are giving that to her as well! Any idea when it might clear up? She looks dreadful!

DD had something very similar last week. They were red and big. It was at it's worst after a week and cleared up quickly when it was finished IYSWIM. She's 2.3.

Thank you both. Doc did say it would get worse before it gets better. Last time she had a rash, it went as quickly as it came but this is different.
