Jerky movements while breastfeeding

Hi all

DD - nearly six months - sometimes starts shivering / making jerky movements while breastfeeding, particularly with her head. This usually seems to happen when she is kind of falling asleep, and lasts a few seconds.

I think I'll probably take her to the GP, but just wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

It doesn't happen often by the way (once or twice a week).

Thank you Smile

Update in case anyone ever has a similar worry:

GP was not concerned - it is similar to our shivers / falling sensation when going to sleep, but in babies it can be a bit more pronounced and last a bit longer because they are so little.

As long as the shivering only happens in conjunction with falling asleep it's fine. Smile
