What to give after stomach bug?

Ds sick every time he ate yesterday. Wee bit sick when he woke this morning but keeping water down so far. What are the best foods to offer today? He's 2.

I probably wouldn't offer anything yet unless he's hungry, then follow the BRAT diet - banana rice apple toast

Some dry toast might help and lots of water hope he is feeling better soon

Yes, BRAT (grated apple often goes down a treat). Also Yakult.

Thanks folks! He's keeping water down but gone back to sleep which is very unlike him and got a bit of a temp - threw calpol up last night tho so don't think I'll risk it!

Just give clear fluids.
Don't give him solids til he asks.
Let his stomach settle.
Hope he feels better soon x

Thanks folks. Gave him what he asked for (within reason) today and all has stayed down...he did however do a poonami of epic proportions just before bath time that reached his ankles!! Blush
