Vaginal discharge

Noticed my 2.5 year old has a smelly discharge this morning - seemed yellowy green, but on her pants it looked brown like the end of a period. Got a doctor's appointment for later, but wondered if anyone has any ideas? Doc said thrush during phone consultation but it's not cottage cheesey. She isn't really unwell besides being full of snot/cold. She did say it's 'ouch' this morning before I discovered the discharge.

What did the GP say?

GP said most likely thrush. She took a swab (I will get results at the end of the week), tested urine (negative) and gave a script for clotrimazole.

Things look much better today already, but we will use the cream anyway.
