Non fishy tasting fish oil supplement?

I want to start the dds on fish oil supplements - have tried a few in the past including chewable children's ones but they always refuse to have them on grounds of very fishy taste. I get it that they are made of fish so will be fishy (wink) but wondered if anyone had found one more acceptable to children? thanks Smile

We use the vegepa chewables in orange flavour. You can buy them on amazon. They don't smell fishy at all.

I sympathise- they all make such grand claims about the taste but I've never found one that isn't pretty revolting - if they can swallow capsules I'd go for those.
We take a krill oil supplement.

Second vote for vegepa orange chewables here.

thanks, will check out the vegepa. I have tried some of the others myself and they nearly made me heave and I love fish, especially mackeral, kippers etc - just not mixed with strawberry or some such thing!

Eye Q smooth tastes of banana. Mine had that until they were older and now have Eye Q chewy capsules. They wouldn't eat them if they didn't taste nice!!

My DS 6 has the little gel capsules which he manages to swallow like a tablet. They are 4 a day though

We use Cod Liver Oil liquid from Nature's Best, tastes lemony not fishy at all.
