Ds1 (7) has working diagnosis of gastritis, which is exacerbated by viral illnesses. Waiting for specialist appointment. Been prescribed Gaviscon 4 times per day.
He's having a flare up now. What can I do to help ease the pain? Worried that Calpol and Calprofen will irritate stomach, although still giving it to him as he has been in so much pain.
GP said it was quite common so hoping someone with experience is around.
