DD2 was ill last week with a fluey type thing and lost her appetite so I wan't too worried but she has been eating normally since Saturday and hasn't pooed since last Wednesday! She seems fine and not in discomfort, she hasn't been straining or anything. She is sleeping a bit more than usual, but isn't sleepy when awake. Drinking and weeing normally.

Is it time for the GP?

Maybe take her anyway but I'd suggest getting a big bag of dried apricots from a health food shop to try and help her along a little. And make sure she's having plenty of water.

Good idea I have some in the cupboard. Thanks

Think I'll ring the doc too.

Any more advice?

I'd be wary of giving her lots of things to make her go. If there's a slight blockage increasing the amount will just make her uncomfortable. I'd get some stool softener from the drs so when she goes it's not painful. :)
