Hi! I am just wondering if anyone has any experience of this? My Cm has commented that dd (2 next month) has had a constant runny nose since having her in oct 12. I have not really thought it a problem but she does have runny eyes sometimes too. She was diagnosed with glue ear in both ears in December and we have a follow up appt in April(!). She has a very noticeable speech delay, saying about 6 words at the most, never puts 2 together but she understands commands and alot of what you say to her. she is very irritable and clingy at the moment and her sleep has been disturbed for 2 weeks, waking early and in the night. My Mum said might be cold so i put her back in ther sleeping bag but i think she is scared of the dark as last night i left landing light on and she woke up much more contentedly and later too.
It is so frustrating, i just don't always know what she wants and am getting so tired with these broken nights. i then read it could be teething or bad dreams( she def settled herself more quickly last night).
She has a speech assessment in next fortnight so I will mention all this but it is hard going for all of us and I don't know how worried i should be about runny nose. CM seems convinced it is a sign of an allergy as her dd had very similar symptoms and suffered with hearing loss :( but nursery that dd also attends don't seem worried. Any experience of this?? Is some of it typical 2 year old stuff???
