DD's woken up with slightly swollen cheeks?!!?

DD's 2 next week. She's been unsettled during night for 2 nights, I even said to DH last night before we went to bed that I wouldn't be surprised if she was brewing something.
This morning she's woken up with swollen cheeks and really snotty. I think her glands are swollen.
Any suggestions?
I read online the possibility of mumps despite vaccination?

She looks like a chipmunk

I was going to suggest mumps.

My brother had it when he was about 4 despite being vaccinated.

I have a friend who is in her mid twenties and she has it at the moment!

Suggest a trip to the GP. Has she got a fever?
