I realise I said it all in the title.... Has anyone seen kids pain killers lately without artificial sweeteners?

agree, I prefer plain old sugar!
sorry if unpopular - but sweeteners, especially aspartame & acesulphame are poisons and banned from many countries as toxic substances!

Whereas harmless plain old sugar only rots your teeth causes obesity. In the amounts we are talking about the teeth issue is much more important than a tiny amount of something that may be harmful in industrial quantities.

I must admit I thought the thread was suggesting entirely unsweetened medicine, which would be the ideal. Not that they' d actually take it!!!

you can always get suppositories, they contain only the active ingredients + a kind of wax.
not ideal for older dc, maybe, but older dc could take tablets if you are careful with the dosing.
