totally normal

don't worry

my ds did this too and I also panicked. totally normal though - enjoy the poo free nappies for a while!

MousyMouse · 13/01/2013 09:14

normal at around that age a change happens in the guts which leads to less frequent poos.
if baby is happy otherwise there is nothing to worry about. anything up to 5 days should be fine (or even longer in bf babies).

but of course if you are worried and baby is unhappy get advice from the hv or gp.

Ds1 went 14 days without a poo. It was messy when it did come.

Totally normal. Just batten down the hatches when it does come Grin

I should add my DD went for 7 days once she got past the newborn non-stop poo stage. It was very worrying and I spent hours reading about baby's poo habits on the interwebs

Oh yes, remember this well. My breast fed DD2 once went 8 days without pooing. She was in her bouncy chair when she eventually did go. It was right down to the toes of her babygrow!
