Dd age 8 came home from school and has gone from well tnm unwell in hrs, has got dreadful cough, shivers, sore throat and just feels poorly. What is it.
Also is norovirus still about as much as it was.

DD2 had really bad flu over Christmas - it started exactly like that. It took nearly two weeks for her to get better. Loads of it around. Sorry.

We've all had that, the out of nowhere is a key symptom for us.
it has taken me 10 days to recover well enough to work, DD bounced much quicker and DH and DS were mild.

Get in some strong cold medicines and paracetamol ibuprofen etc for kids. Would recommend some difflam throat spray too in preparation.

Try to get all snot into tissues and lots of hand washing.....

We none of us were sick though imagines that is still to come now kids back at school

Sounds like flu. There is a lot of flu around at the moment.
