Is it true that it is going to become prescription only? If so, from when onwards?
Thanks.

I didn't even know it existed!

didnt know it existed either. Never seen it

I hadn't heard that. But you can buy the same stuff labelled for adults - ds has had it since he was 2, on prescription at first then we couldn't be bothered with that so just bought it for 'us'

ilovepowerhoop · 09/01/2013 22:12

looks like its not for children under 6

That is right, it is not for children under six. However, once over six, it works a treat with severe colds to prevent ear infections etc. I only give it when dc have swimming lessons and a very bad cold (both prone to very bad ear infections) or we have to fly. It is a very good decongestant, although I prefer to give Sterimar (nasal salt water spray) first and if that doesn't work resort to Sudafed.

I was trying to get some more, but it seems that at Boots it is now prescription only (according to their website). That was not the case half a year ago. So I am wondering if I should start stocking up as it keeps for quite a while.
