2yr old complaining of headaches

My 2 yr old daughter has been complaining of a headache for the past few weeks on and off. She'll mention it perhaps every couuple of days, and when I ask her to point to where it hurts she points to the centre of her forehead. She is in otherwise very good health and is running around like normal, playing etc. I don't know whether to take her to the GP, or whether she's saying it as an attention/game thing as she likes to play with her dollies and pretend they are ill (says phrases I say to her when she's poorly)

Looking at her you wouldn't think there's anything wrong and I am conscious of wasting Drs time, but at the same time I dont want to ignore my daughter and am worried about what could be causing it if I do nothing.

Thanks

Aren't headaches one of the signs of poor vision? Given that she consistently does this, I'd guess that it's NOT an attention thing, more an actual pain thing and take her in.

Yes I'd take her in. There has been a headachey virus around our way but I wouldn't expect it to last more than a couple of weeks. My policy is that if I don't know the answer I refer to someone who might, ie the doctor. Never be afraid of wasting their time even for a minor complaint esp with a young dc.
