How to stop calpol being a battle - tips please!

DD is really unwilling to take calpol (or any other medicine!) if she is sat at the table with her big brother and he has his medicine from a spoon or syringe, she is likely to copy nicely, but now he has finished his medicine and she is still having antibiotics and calpol and it is such a battle!

Anyone got any tips on how to get her to take it nicely?

Can her big brother be roped in to having a syringe of yoghurt while she has her meds?

Squirt into the cheek rather than on the tongue. Not sure if that's helpful. Been up since 3...

I'm not sure if you could do it with antibiotics, but I add paracetamol or ibuprofen suspension to DD's cup with some diluted squash. We have suppositories for when she has a fever and won't drink.
