Dd wee problem..

Hi all.

Not sure how to describe this other than when my 3 year old dd is sat on the toilet, her wee comes out in a arch horizontally. So it's very difficult to get the wee into the toilet, I have to sit her as far back as possible and lean her forward to aim into the toilet! I've tried 3 different child seats but the wee just goes up and over onto the floor. Sort of how you'd expect a boy to wee!

Should I be worried? I would feel a bit daft going to the gp for this so I'm asking MN first.

if she's looking down at what she is doing, it may be arching her back out and tilting her pelvis forward

get her to lean forward slightly but then look up at the sky and it should create a curve in her back the opposite way and point her pelvis down

my mum used to tell us to look up when we went to the loo and it is only reading your post that I realise why!

Try getting her to sit the other way around- straddling the toilet, facing the cistern.
