Dd is 2 and on Sunday her temp was 39ish with calpol and she was coughing until she was sick - took her to ooh who gave amoxicillin . Has had 4 full days of antibiotics so far.

On Monday temp was down to 379 and by Tuesday gone though both days still waking coughing until sick.

Yeaterdy and today no sick but temp back up to 377 - not high and she also quite regularly is up to 378 as a baseline temperature anyways.

She still has a chesty sounding cough though i think it might be because she just clears her throat rather than coughing it all up iykwim ?

Playing and eating and drinking.

Would you call doc for advice / get her seen / leave it just now?

Think its a difficult call. Normally I would say leave it a couple of days but you may have difficulty seeing a GP after tomorrow.

Sounds like she is on the mend to me especially as she is playing eating and drinking - that's a great sign of improvement. I would guess the doctor would say finish the antibiotics and continue as you are doing.

To be fair the doc will see her tomorrow if I want them to. They're quite good like that.

Think will wait and see - shes been very happy today and has eaten LOADS so far so fingers crossed.
