He fell on the ice about 10 days ago and hurt his thigh muscle, no bruise. Next day he went to a soft play area and was running aound fine. But 10 days on he is still llimping, he can put full weight on it and there is not bruise and I can feel the area without any pain or discomfort.

What on earth could it be? Just a pulled muscle?

I would book a gp appt as 10 days is a long time, maybe it is his hip?

It could be a greenstick / stress fracture. We had this when my DD was 2.5, she fell out of bed (not long out of a cot and staying at friends without side bar on bed). On the day she fell we took her to the children's hospital who x rayed and found nothing. A week later she was still limping and I took her back- they X rayed again and said possible greenstick fracture- put her in plaster and she was running around in 24 hours, plaster and all. 3 weeks later plaster gone and all better.

He needs to see a Dr after this long.

I saw a doctor at minor injuries unit and all is well, they said just a pulled muscle which can take up to 4 weeks to heel, DS did all these exercises the nurse asked him to do, he looked so long legged and skinny in his pants!

Glad it's nothing major.
