My DD (1yo) has had diarrhea for a few days, except she doesn't poo any more frequently than usual. She's not sick, vomiting etc and is fine and normal in herself.

DH and I thought it could be to do with having had chocolates a bit recently (advent calendar) but we've stopped her having them and her stools are still loose.

Any one had experience of this and how soon would you consult the GP.

Well have you seen the Bristol Scale which is a scale of poo and what's normal...it's v surprising. have a look at it and if DD is drinking and eating as usual maybe it's ok...unless it's vile smelling. Go to the GP in a day or two if you're not happy.

Thanks for that. It's somewhere around 6/7, but then all the definitions of diarrhea involve going more frequently than usual, which is not the case.
DD is eating normally, and drinking more than normal (which seems good).

Will take her to the GP tomorrow if there's no change.
