ds(8) has had a red spot on his nose for about 8 months. There is now another appearing on his cheek. They look <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?hl=en&tbo=d&biw=1280&bih=827&tbm=isch&tbnid=egV4r9osMKbpIM:&imgrefurl=www.whatclinic.com/beauty-clinics/uk/nottinghamshire/nottingham/zenith-cosmetic-clinic&docid=Ac9kCuWj9Nh1vM&imgurl=cdn.whatclinic.com/beauty-clinics/uk/nottinghamshire/nottingham/zenith-cosmetic-clinic/thumbnails/44b6f1f6532ae9ad/spider-angioma-after-532-ktp-original.jpg&w=2004&h=833&ei=rKXEUIvREsWS0QX4wIHwCw&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=453&sig=101317651282074506213&page=2&tbnh=112&tbnw=242&start=32&ndsp=39&ved=1t:429,r:51,s:0,i:238&tx=41&ty=65" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">like this and are very noticable on his young smooth skin.
He is very active (football, karate, swimming and generally out playing) so I think these are a combination of having thread veins on the face close to the surface of the skin and damage occuring through his activities.
Haven't been to a doctor, considering it to see if they can do anything, but looking at the internet it seem to be luck if you suffer from thread veins or not.
Has anyone's dc's had similar problems and know of any magical treatments other than laser surgery or know how to prevent anymore?
