lots of smelly pus in my 13 month old sons nappy

hi guys every time i have changed my sons nappy today it has stunk and been full of pus, I have rung the doctors but cant be seen till tomorrow I was wondering if anyone knew what could be going on?

Balanitis by the sound of it. Is his penis red or sore?

If you have any canestan in you can try putting that on until you can get to the GP.

my eldest suffers with balanitis horrendously they are circumcising him but no he isnt swolen or sore

Id be getting seen as an emergency or going to A&E.

Pus? So from a wound or infection? How much? Does he hve a fever?

I'd be calling nhs direct immediately

I would also call NHS Direct - or would go to A&E if I didn't get a quick response.

Are you sure it's pus? Some stomach bugs can give really dodgy looking and very smelly diarreah, very slimy and snot like. Can you see where it might be coming from, penis or bum? If it's coming from his bum it's more likely to be a dodgy tum, is he poorly or acting like his usual self?

Mine have had mucusy runs a few times but they didn't throw up or anything or seem ill at all, just the yacky bum then better within a few days.
