i have to give this to dd (4) 4 times a day. i mixed it into a petit filous choc dessert thingy. still tasted foul but watched and waited.

she went berserk. it's coated our ceiling.

there is NO WAY i'm going to get this stuff into her without some very powerful magic.

what am i going to do?????

It's a cheap ab.

Go back to drs and ask for something else. There is always an alternative.

I sympathise. DS5 has to take it 4x day for 10 days. It's vile. We've just finished day 1 and I've had to give him something incredibly sweet straight after to counteract the bitterness. So much for "sugar free" medicine Hmm

I'm going to ask the pharmacist tomorrow. Will report back...

claudedebussy · 25/11/2012 10:12

what did the pharmacist say amazonianwoman?

Didn't make it sorry as I was busy all day. He is getting quite good at taking it now if he has something very sweet to hand. It seems to be adversely affecting his bowel movements though - a few hasty toilet trips! I'm a bit worried about him taking it at school now...

amazonianwoman · 25/11/2012 11:33

I'll still speak to the pharmacist tomorrow.

well done for getting him to take it.

i'm too soft but i will make another gp appointment tomorrow. i'm also sort of hoping that the skin infection will just GO AWAY.
