Hi all I am new to this forum and don't ever post on forums but I'm in desperate need from mothers with experience from molloscum contagiosum, I have a two yr old who has had this spot for over 4 months and it is not getting any better, he also suffers from eczema and dry skin.. The doctor diagnosed it as molloscum but I thought that would have bought more spots out? hopefully someone will be able to shine some light on their experience with it? I'm so frustrated as I also have a 3 month old baby and its on my mind all the time that it may spread to him!!!
The spot started out small pimple like and now is the size of a pea, it's yellow and as my boy has scratched it several times it bleeds an then grows back to its shape again. I have used tea tree oil and covered the spot in plaster to avoid any further spread!
