I think you're best to just avoid anything 'ready made' and cook fresh food which is what we mostly do and I use plenty of fats in our diet - olive oil for cooking etc. We cook plenty of fresh chicken, fish, mince etc with roast potatoes, pasta , veg though DD isn't great with veg so i often hide it in rice dishes or soup, or Dd loves dahl . And we have regular treats too but nothing huge, like a couple of biscuits as a snack, cake, some chocolate.
I think if you cook simply like this you'll be fine! Dd has never had low fat anything and has a limited diet due to several allergies but a nutritionist she was referred to said it was a pleasure to see a child who was in such healthy shape.

Hello, I am a student at sussex university and I'm currently investigating the effects of video games on childhood obesity. My goal is to take techniques used in the game industry and utilize them to engage children in group games with active nature, so they exercise with friends while having fun. I have prepared two surveys that you can complete online and help me with my research. Your input is crucial for this project and if you have some time to spare please fill them in.
Thank you in advance, Demos

Ps if anyone is interested in finding more about this project please contact me on [email protected]
