Has she been prescribed antibiotics? My ds had this when he was 5 or 6, he wasn't poorly poorly with it, just a temp with cold symptoms and sore throat along with the rash, he was feeling better within days but had to stay off school for 2 weeks.

The antibiotices are given as a precaution.

Please don't panic, it's a fairly mild illness and I'm sure she'll be right as rain in a couple of days Smile

It is quite a short illness, 2 of mine had it last year.

Again is he on antibiotics?
