Small hard lump on back of head

I've just found a small hard lump on the back of DS' (4) head.

It's in the middle of the back of his head height-wise and closer to his left ear than his right. It is immovable.

He had small lump on his head as a baby ad was checked out at the hospital for this, and the official diagnosis was a dermoid cyst (it went away as he grew) but this feel different.

I know I'll need to take him to the GP but I am worrying now.

Yes, do take him to the gp.

If it is of any reassurance in the meantime, I had a lump in the same place throughout my childhood. Turned out to be a sebaceous cyst that I had removed under local anesthetic as a teenager.

Hope the doctor can reassure.
