my 6 mnth old has started 'gasping'. its hard to describe, but its like a sudden wheezy gasping noise. sometimes i think he is doing it for fun, but then he'll do it and cry... not really coughing much, temp is fine, might be constipated tho... any ideas??

like a sudden pause to give a gasp? and then carry on?

might be worth mentioning to the gp.

he started crying his eyes out as well as gasping in pain, took him to docs and turns out he's all constipated :( thankfully not something worse tho!

am very glad to hear that.
my niece is the same with her asthma, small people have little room to carry a build up of waste i think!

tummy pains make adults gasp as well.

what are you doing to help with the constipation?

the doc gave us lactalose (or something like that) to give him (its laxative) and we are giving him water (when he'll sip it) and trying to give looser foods. seems positive so far!
