What vitamin supplement can I give a 2.7yo?

I was told the other week by a midwife that 2.7yo DD should be taking vitamin D, but all the supplements I've seen in the shops are for 3y+. Does anyone know if there are any that can be given to younger toddlers? A multivitamin would be fine, not necessarily just vit D.

Abidec or Delavit are easily available from your pharmacy.

Healthy Start vitamins are NHS issue and should be available to you either from a health centre or children's centre, it varies depending on where you live. If you qualify for the healthy start scheme they are free via voucher exchange. If you don't qualify you can (hopefully) buy them.

If you're PG you should be having them too.

Thanks, I'll look out for those. Not pg, but have 3 week old DD, so am taking vit D to pass on through breastmilk (was taking Pregnacare through pregnancy too) :)
