Adult tooth coming before baby one out, normal?

Dd is 5, almost 6. A few weeks ago she said her front bottom tooth was sore when she ate sweetcorn on the cob. I noticed it was a tiny bit wobbly.
We've been keeping an eye on it and it doesn't seem to be any more wobbly. But today I noticed the adult tooth is coming through behind the baby one. By this evening it was clearly through.
Is this normal?

Yes, entirely normal. My teeth were like this and my dd's. The baby tooth should come out before too long.

Phew, thanks, was worried it would be a trip to the dentist. Grin

normal for some children. my dc1 (nearly 6) looks like a shark atm with two rows of front teeth...

Yes, lots of children in my son's class had two sets of front teeth for a while!

Yes, normal. When the baby tooth eventually falls out the adult tooth will move forward (I know it looks as though it's too far back to do that, but it does).

Yes it does look far back, glad you mentioned that. Smile

DS had this with both top teeth. One fell out naturally, after about 7 weeks. We opted to have the second one taken out by the dentist- a bit sore for a few hours, but a lot less problematic that the first one was.
