My 5yr old has a rash on her face?! What could it be?

5yr old dd has a rash on her face. Started off as a small patch on one cheek and now her whole cheek is red and blotchy and she says its very very itchy.

She doesn't feel poorly or have a sore throat or head ache. What can I give her? What could it be?

How fast has it gone from a small patch to a whole cheek?

It could possibly be impetigo but if it is causing her discomfort see the OOH dr or a pharmacist.

Small patch yesterday morning thn when I collected her from school was her whole cheek and her ear was bright red but it lessened through the evening and looked less red but this morning it's night red and hot to touch

That sounds less like impetigo. If it's red and hot to touch I would definetly see the OOH. If you ring now it might be a bit quieter (you can hope anyway!)
