Has anyone used these? Are they reliable? It seems like such a good idea, even better than 'in the ear' but I really can't afford £40 -£50 if they are no good. Thanks.

I had never heard of such a thing....so i googled it!

Here is a link to a recent article published in a medical journal that is commonly used in the uk. Just read the conlusion.....

I use the in the ear one and it works a treat. Can even do it when my DS is sleeping without too much difficulty. IMO the non-contact one would be quite tricky to use on a child thats wriggling about....
