Should I be giving my dd vitamin supplements? Dd is 21 months, I try to give her a balanced diet but was thinking that I should perhaps be giving her vitamin supplements too?

I always have done, as I've always taken vits myself since a kid.

A balanced diet is in theory possible (and we're pretty much there as I'm a health freak) but TBH I prefer to top it up with vits.

all children up to the age of 5 are advised to take a supplement of vitamins A, C and D.

You can get free vitamin drops from your HV or Surestart for children under 4 under the "Healthy Start" scheme.

Thanks, I thought as much but some people I have spoken to said that she shouldn't need them. I will start tomorrow.
