Chicken pox - when to get it checked out?

dd is 13mo and on wednesday was covered in a pin prick rash (viral type thing) but was fine in herself so on Thursday I checked with nurse before she had mmr who said it was fine, not contagious etc. Friday dd was snotty and coughing and by evening she had 6 spots. I took her to the walk in centre as I was worried about MMR reaction. By the time we were seen an hour later she was covered in spot and CP was confirmed. Today she is a bit grumpy but ok just a mild temp but her breathing is wheezy. It's not bad enough for me to rush her to A&E and she's still crawling around but when I hold her she's breathing faster than usual and wheezing. Not sure if I should be worried or if it's just something to keep an eye on.

Obviously she's not turning blue or anything!

I took my daughter to out of hours with faster breathing when she was unwell and was told it's normal for a fever. I was made to feel like I was an over anxious mother! But I would say if you're worried get her checked, always best to be on the safe side.

Incidentally all three of mine now have chicken pox! By the fourth day they seem to perk up. It's horrid isn't it? I hope your daughter feels better soon.
