Hi all dd1 now 8 had grommets in age 2.9 after being plagued with constant infections and ear drum perforations. Grommets worked very well and stayed in for over two years with no further infections during that time. Once they fell out her hearing was checked and deemed to be fine (which I dispute) however the perforations have left her eardrums badly scarred.
Anyway she now suffers from painful blocked ears about every 6 weeks or so. I put warm olive oil drops in them which seems to work however this can't be normal can it/? And is it common after grommets? Thanks
