She has no temperature but has told me her back hurts. She asked to wee 3 times after I put her down to bed but has done nothing.
She has a bit of a cold but seems fairly cheerful. I've given her a drink.

She drank quite a bit today but it was warm and she was weeing fine up to a couple of hours ago.

Should I ring out-of-hours?

More prone to chesty coughs/wheezing etc in this house so not much experience of these symptoms.

Thanks

Yes, I would. Hope she's OK.

See if she manages to get to sleep.

If she has trouble sleeping/ is still complaining tomorrow, then I would take her to the dr.

How old is she?

Thanks. Other dd went to bed early with a headache and slight temp and DH not home so will ring and see what OOHs say.

If she can't wee how will they tell if she has an infection?

She will be able to wee....she'll just feel the need when there isn't anything to come out. Give her lots of liquid, and it will come out. Cathing it will be the tricky part!

Thanks again.

Lynette She is the kind of 3 year old who will enjoy the challenge of weeing into an usual receptacle so at least I have no worries on that front Grin
