No remedies but much sympathy! We are luckily over that stage so just try to remember it won't last forever.

Oh...Just googled and found this which is supposed to be great but i was told they had stopped making it

You can still get Ashton powders, they've started stocking it again in the chemist near me.

ISmellCheese · 08/09/2012 19:30

Bah! So they only stopped selling it when my DS was teething then!

ScariestFairyByFar · 08/09/2012 19:46

I need to get some of that these have been the worst by far. How long does each tooth usually cause pain for? Have ordered an amber bracelet despite being a sceptic

With mine it was only a few days of grumpiness. 2 at a time so 4 must be hell.

ScariestFairyByFar · 08/09/2012 20:13

This has been weeks now I try everything else to settle her nothing works Calpol and 10 mins later shes out for the count.

I've just posted the same dilemma on parenting...... Woops!!

9mo DS finally cutting his teeth which I'm surprised it's taken so long as you could see the front 2 bottom 1s when he was a few weeks.

Boots do teething powders I got some as DS eats teething gel and you can't get it near his gums but the same seems to be true for the powders here.

ISmellCheese · 08/09/2012 20:18

I tried the Boots and it was no help really

chocolatespiders · 08/09/2012 20:21

Have you looked into Amber bracelets, only downside is you need it now

2wwmadness · 08/09/2012 20:21

I can't get Ashton powder anywhere!! I've looked in 3 major cities in the uk! Boots did a search for me and they are out of stock. Lady said when they come in people buy 10 at a time! Lady in another chemist said people cut drugs with it so it had distribution issues! Where can I get some!

ScariestFairyByFar · 08/09/2012 20:29

I've ordered an amber bracelet today hopefully it'll be here soon.

2wwmadness I got mine through an independent chemist - Boots don't stock them. It's just a little family-run chemist on the local high street. Try one similar?

Figgygal · 08/09/2012 21:15

We have an amber bracelet !!!!! must look it out tomorrow

2wwmadness · 08/09/2012 21:19

Thank you! I'll keep hunting! Aparently it's miracle stuff!
