Does anyone have experience of these? DD is just 3 and this has developed/ appeared recently. GP noticed it when I took her in about a virus last week, but she was so distressed at the time that we were as quick as possible and he said just to keep an eye on it (unrelated to her illness at the time).
I've noticed her fiddling a lot more with her belly button than she used to, so wonder if it is irritating her in some way. It does look odd, although goes back in normally sometimes. Her same aged cousin noticed and commented on it the other week.
Are there any symptoms I should look out for? Can it worsen? Will it need repairing or is it just cosmetic?
