Undesended testical

Asking for my sister.
Is an Undesended testical in a 6yo boy something to worry about? (one is descended the other isn't) Does he need to see a doctor? Will a doctor do anything?
I have girls so have no idea

He needs to see a doctor, yes.

Yes. Left untreated leaves him at higher risk of testicular cancer in later life.

He will probably need a small operation to have it lowered. My DS has had the op, it was fine, 10days off school but tbh he was fine after about a day! We were advised to keep him off just so he wouldn't get knocked in the playground.

If left untreated it can sometimes also cause fertility problems. See a doctor
