Does this sound like chicken pox?

My DS is a year old and was exposed to cp two weeks ago. Today I have noticed two patches of tiny red spots on his face. The area is about the size of a 5p piece and within it are lots of little red pin prick spots. He has one patch on his cheek and one on his forehead. I'm assuming it's chicken pox but they look nothing like the pics I have found online.

Does it sounds like the start of the pox?

In case it's relevant, he went arse over elbow into a flowerbed just before I noticed them so is it more likely to be a rash from that? I'm thinking a pollen reaction/insect bites etc.

Thank you.

Hmm, they seem to have disappeared after his nap. Most curious...

didnt sound like chicken pox anyway - still time though as incubation period is up to 3 weeks!
