Is it normal to have no teeth at 1yo?

Yes, both my DC had no teeth at a year old.

IIRC they came through at about 14 months. DS was walking before he got any teeth!!

Don't know whats normal and not, but a friends dd didn't have teeth until she was over 1, then got about 8 at once (that was a fun time for her!). Her older brother was also a late teether, the HV seemed to think it was just one of those things

Very normal in my family, me and my siblings and then my dc.

All three of mine didn't have teeth until about 14 months. Dc1s adult teeth were also late and dc2 still hasn't got any adult teeth at age 7.

My friends with babys of similar age all got teeth around 6 months. DS has been walking since 10m and is now talking, hes so advanced in many ways yet, my friends always make comments about him not having teeth yet. I guess its just me comparing.

I think they are all different. Mine didn't get teeth till after one.

Find out when you and Dad teethed - as apparently it's fairly hereditary.

No teeth = no brushing! My baby is 11 months with no teeth.

I was 10m and his dad was 8m

DS got first tooth at 14m.

Now 19m has three top teeth and four molars!

Been told it's in the normal range.

A lot of kids don't have teeth at 1. I have 1yr old twins at the moment- DD is teething, DS isn't. DD1 got her first tooth aged 14mnths. It might be hereditary, I only got teeth at 18mnths (my parents though I was going to be toothless for life by then) and my fist adult tooth at 8. Don't worry about it too much.
