How to relieve itch from scabs after a fall

DS fell off a bike quite badly yesterday. He's grazed his knees, elbows and top lip. One day on and the scabs are starting to form and he's in agony. Is there anything I can give him or do to help?

Also, thick top lip. I'm giving Arnica pills and ice packs. Is there anything more I can do?

put bepanthen or savlon or similar healing cream on the scabs. that helps. at least it helped me after being attacked by the brambles in the garden.

Not sure quite why a smile appeared on my post. I'm clearly not grinning about DS!

well they are supposed to fall and graze skin and get bruised. :o
hope he feels better soon.
