Reflux in 9month old - Xanax didn't work

My son has always had quite bad reflux after liquids. Our crèche brings up the issue every day. He brings up liquids a few times after each feed and they are sick of cleaning up after him i suspect. They say its very unusual.

We've brought him to his doctor a couple of times about it. The first time she did nothing. The second time she said try 1 ml of Xanax a day for two weeks. It didn't make any difference. I'm quite upset about it (thus the post in the middle of the night). Can anyone help?

You probably need to try infant gaviscon, this might stop him sicking up so much.. It's a powder you mix in with their bottles, you can get it over the counter but it's a bit pricey so you would be better going back to your GP. I found with most gp you need to tell them what to prescribe with this kind of thing as they just aren't experienced enough.
Failing that there are other drugs they prescribe but I should think you would need a referral to the peadeatrician.
