Persistent illness

My daughter has a weak and scarred kidney (her right kidney hasn't grown since birth) and has had recurring wee infections all of her life. We manage this with anitbiotics and recognise the symptoms in advance. Recently (she is just 11 years old) she has been constantly poorly with sickness and temperatures as well as the wee infections - every 2 or 3 weeks we have a bout of vomiting, high temperatures and headaches. It lasts for about 5 days or so. She is becoming very distressed about always being and feeling unwell - GP's don't seem to be concerned neither do her consultants but I wondored if this is usual - we have been away for the last 4 weeks and in that time we have had a cold, an ear infection, sickness and squits for 3 days.
